The Minister of Trade and Industry, Ms. Nevine Gameaa confirmed during the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Information Technology Industry Development Authority, the Industrial Modernisation Centre, and Siemens Egypt to establish and equip the first innovation center in the fourth generation in Egypt, in The City of Knowledge in The New Administrative Capital, the ministry's keenness to provide technologies and applications of the fourth industrial revolution for the industrial sector in order to keep pace with Egyptian products for global developments in addition to increase its competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets
Minister of Trade and Industry Ms. Nivine Gameaa stressed that Hayah Karima Initiative represents a distinct opportunity for the national industry to provide all the industrial requirements and needs needed to implement the initiative, noting that the initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to improve the standard of living of rural villages and achieve sustainable development throughout the republic represents a major breakthrough for the local industry where it will contribute to the operation of factories at full production capacity, as well as an opportunity to enter new investments in the local market as well as create new jobs for young people.
The Industrial Modernisation Centre succeeded in passing the inspections and reviews of the ISO Certificate 9001:2015 quality management for the second year conducted by The Near East Services NES and representative of EURO CERT global on internal operations and measuring their efficiency and effectiveness, where the review process ended in renewing the center's certificate for the second year without any non-conformity.
