Printing and Packaging Sector at IMC serves the following Sub – Sectors: Printing and Publishing, Stationary Products, Flexible Packaging, Offset and Digital Printing, Paper Converting, and Corrugated Carton

2008 Data:
  • IMC registered clients 472

  • IMC served 217 clients till July 2009 compared to 111 served clients in June 2008    

  • IMC printing and packaging clients are exporting 736.3 million EGP in year 2007

 



Sectoral Projects 2009:

  • Solvent recovery process (flexible and offset printing): solvents are recovered, recycled for re-use to another batch of ink.

  • Virgin fiber feasibility study in cooperation with Chemical Chamber :The study is to examine the technical and economic feasibility of using wood and non-wood indigenous raw material  available to produce virgin fiber in Egypt building on the results of IMC’s packaging study

  • Improve waste collection among all printing and packaging manufacturers

  • Support the printing and packaging export development fund study
