Upper Egypt development is a major part of the National Development Strategy and a main government objective, IMC has aimed in its action plan through furnishing a set of additional and special incentives for the industrial development in this important region, covering from Beni Suef in the north and all the way south to Aswan, including New Valley and Al Wahat Albahareia, which will positively contribute to solving the region's main problem of unemployment

Set Incentives are listed as follows:

• Reduction in enterprises' share in IMC's business development services cost by 50%
• First year free technical assistance to new factories (during pre-start-up and start- up stages)
• 0% equipment grant with a maximum of 200,000 EGP
