European Enterprise Network

About European Enterprise Network

The European Enterprise Network (EEN) is one of the Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (EASME) projects, and it is the largest assistance network for small and medium enterprises in the world. The network includes more than 60 countries, and brings together under its umbrella more than 3,000 experts from among more than 600 institutions registered as members of the European Enterprise Network. The network aims to support and develop projects and entrepreneurs worldwide.

Egypt's participation in the European Enterprise Network

Egypt has participated in the European Enterprise Network (EEN) since 2013 to promote cooperation between Egypt and the European Union and activate global communication channels, in addition to contributing in creating opportunities for cooperation between small and medium-sized companies in Egypt and their counterparts in the European Union.

The European Network in Egypt is managed by a consortium headed by the Industrial Modernisation Centre (IMC) in its capacity as the alliance coordinator for the Network.

Services provided by the European-Egyptian Projects Network:

  • Enhancing the presence of small and medium Egyptian companies in the European market and other markets affiliated with the company
  • Facilitating the process of accessing markets and introducing the regulations and procedures for business in Egypt
  • Joint organization of businessmen's meetings and trade missions
  • Enhancing participation in sectoral business groups
