Public Private Partnership

A long path is still ahead to meet the challenge of fulfilling the vision.IMC, the Government, and Industry can not achieve this independently. Success is foreseeable not through a single handed effort but actually through concerted collective action by all stakeholders performing in partnership.

IMC will, therefore, work within public private partnerships where each partner is committed to achieving success. The involvement and the commitment of each partner organisation and company is essential for the new approach to "fine-tune to compete".

Partnership Values
All Partners will be committed to a charter of the following values:

    4- Good governance regarding all issues

Public Private Partners (PPP)
A public private partnership will bring together stakeholders as partners and will consist of representatives of the public sector such as Ministry ofTrade and Industry alongside private sector representation embedded, for example, in the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Export Councils, General Authority for Investment, Investors' Associations, Egyptian Exporters Association, Industrial Training Council (ITC), Productivity &Vocational Training Department (PVTD),Technology Centres, Banks,The Social Fund for Development and Private Sector Companies, all with respective responsibilities. Furthermore, the key to success rests on the private stakeholders' involvement in the development process. Industry must hold ownership of the vision through public private partnerships. Public private partnerships shall be functional when all parties to the partnership show commitment to success. Partners, respectively, entertain responsibilities towards each other.
